The first thing i thought of...

when I saw the new pokemon Nekkoala (Japanese Name), was it grasping a giant can of VB instead of the usual log which it rocks. Since a Koala is native to Australia, its only natural for it to have an Australian personality.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. It started with a sketch, then 5 hours of line-arting (Yay for no tablet) and 3 hours of colouring n' shading to get it to the point it is now at.

I really enjoyed doing this. I'm definitely looking forward to doing more pieces like this is the future. I'd love to know what you guys think of it and if i should do more digital drawings or stick to simple sketches.
